Not sure if this sale is at all Walgreens
BUT
they have an awesome sale of natural hair care products right now.
They had a number of products on sale all for prices under $2.00
so I couldn’t pass it up.
I never tried any of the products that were on sale so
below are a few items that I decided to try out!

Dr. Miracle Follicle Healer Energizing Deep Conditioner (Original Price: $1.69) | Sale Price: $ 0.45

They also had a couple of Loc & Twist Gels for sale for under $2.00!
So if your looking to experiment with new products on your natural hair I suggest you
head over to your nearest Walgreens to check what they have on sale right now.
Today I deep conditioned my hair with the Dr. Miracle Follicle Healer Deep Conditioner.
The only thing I dislike about it is that the smell is REALLY STRONG…and has a medicated smell to it..
But other than that, I think my hair was a happy camper today and it feels refreshed!
After deep conditioning, I used the Elasta Hair Conditioning Creme and Nouveau Finishing Mist to style.
I think I like the results from these products so far!
Here’s a couple photos!

Ten months "AuNaptural"

Well it has been about a year and 4 months since I last put a relaxer in my hair and it has been 10 months since my “Big Chop”. I must say it has been a journey dealing with this hair but I wouldn’t change a thing. As I always say, it was the best decision I ever made pertaining to my hair.
This morning I did a quick twist out which resulted in a lot of shrinkage. Shrinkage is definitely an enemy of mine…I truly hate it but…what can I do! ***shrug***
When I hit my 1 year mark I’ll do a blowout so that you can see how much my hair has grown. But for now here’s a few photos from today!

Experimenting with Print Layouts

Well I am continuing to learn more and more in my Digital Publishing class. The other day we studied the measurement system of InDesign. It’s pretty easy and awesome. And makes placement so much easier.
I am experimenting with making layouts so right now my experiments are not to its full potential..
Again…I am still in the learning process..But I’m getting there!

My Cuquipie is Thirty!

Quote of the Day:
“Best Friends are siblings God forgot to give us”
So my best friend Sandy turns 30 today! If you looked at her you wouldn’t think she was close to it!
She is an amazing friend and I am so thankful to have her in my life!
We have been through ALOT together!
We have fought…and made up…and fought…and made up ….and fought..played silent treatments for months…and then made up…LOL
We’ve been through it all..but one thing is for sure I know this girl would be there for me for any and everything. That’s why I love her!
Those individuals who have Sandy in their lives should be thankful that she is.
 And if they are not…
GO KICK ROCKS!!!!!!
is all I have to say!
Sandy would definitely say that but in more piercing words…LOL
Gotta love her Puerto Rican Spice!
Thank you Sandy for never judging and always being there for me!
LYF!!!

Continuing to Learn

I must say I am enjoying my studies into Digital Multimedia!
Yesterday’s digital photography class we studied on Lighting and Perspective! We were in the studio the entire night shooting our classmates with different lighting techniques. It was awesome. Once done, we headed back into the classroom and made our Contact sheets for our instructor to go through and critique.
I love it!
Anywho, my instructor is over the South Florida Camera Club, so next week his club is having a guest photographer by the name of Rick Sammon. So our assignment for next week is to attend the workshop with him! All I could think of was…

FIELD TRIP!!!!!!

Onto one of my other classes…….Digital Publishing!
We are currently learning Digital Publishing with InDesign. I am learning SO MUCH in this class. From Magazine Page Layouts to Web Layouts for web designs, layouts for advertising, and a number of other things. Its amazing how so much detail goes into publishing a single layout….
During the process of learning, I am starting to just experiment and create SIMPLE layouts for my business to help.
Here is one that I have experimented with.
Again…experimenting…
I am still in the learning process.
But I think I did a pretty dern good job! Woop Woop! 😉
Let me know what you think!
